I would personally like to have a scientific explanation about why something that, say, my mother spends twenty minutes trying to do on the computer, I can do in three and without knowing the program. I can't think of any specifics, but this happens a lot – since I have no computer training and she does, I can only guess that it's intuitive, and have no idea why, since in all other areas I am a highly illogical person.

*squints* That is, assuming that rather long example holds true for the generation gap in general, not just my immediate family.
